Tissot, my hooded pet rat, passed away in my arms on Monday the 16th of April 2007. I cared for him during his last moments and I miss him dearly. My other rat, Bando (also a hooded rat) is sad and lonely amd misses him dearly. Does anyone have any idea how long it should take for him to feel a bit more happy and when the best time to intoduce a new friend is? Obviously no rat will ever replace Tissot but for Bando’s sake I need to introduce a new rat to him, does anyone have any easy to follow rat introduction steps? I love ratties so can someone put a pic of there rat in their post or their comment?, thankyou.

My rat was the best .I ever had . she never did nothing bad. she was the best .i had a bad week . i wish i could tell her goodbye.
She was nice rat.She played with my sister.My friends & brothers where scaryed of her .They always ran from her when i got her out of the cage . She had a heart problems .I was thinking about if i didnt take her what would happened to her .She died MARCH 27 .I got her DEC.11 .SHE WAS 6 MONTHS old.It was bad the way she died.
The best rat i ever had was a feeder. I saved her from a snake.She lived for 4 years.I got her when i was 7 1/2 . It was my first rat i was bad at it at first.I realy loved her she was the best . but i was mad when she died that was the sadest moment in my life .She was born 2002 -2006 DEC.5 .
