Everything on this site is original material unless otherwise noted. Exceptions inlcude photographs sent in by many wonderful rat fans and a three found on the internet. Each person or group is given individual credit on the credits page. Two photos on this site were found on the internet many years ago–one on the vets page and one on the common problems page (for more information, see the credits page). One other photograph, demonstrating the difference between a male and female rat at a young age, came from the University of Iowa Animal Care Unit.

To the best of my knowledge nothing on this website is copyrighted to anyone but myself. Any graphics (and they are plentiful) or design that I have created are copyrighted ©2005-2006 by Sara Olsher. Please do not use anything from FRC on your own website. If I see it, I will track you down and force you to buy me a new computer (I’m thinking a really expensive Apple tower with the really big Apple flat screen, if you’re curious). Let’s just say you probably can’t afford it. If you are interested in using something, please ask me and we’ll talk.

Graphics for this website, including the design for the front page and each internal page, was made using Photoshop and Dreamweaver, two of the most amazing and powerful programs I’ve seen. I use a Macintosh (a brand-spanking-new 15-inch powerbook, to be exact) which I love dearly.

If you find any broken links or images it MAY be a figment of Internet Explorer’s imagination, but most likely it was me falling down on my job as webmaster. Oops. If you see anything, please let me know.
