once i had a very spunky rat (Thor) who pulled every tissue out of a full box while i was in the shower. I let my rats run around the bathroom while i shower because it is sealed well and i dont have to worry about anybody coming in and treading on them. Try it!! The ratties even venture into the shower sometime…
Hey i have a question, my girlfreind just gave me 2 of her baby rats and they are about 3 weeks old and they are already pokeing each other and i was wondering Whats the Length of Rat Pregnancy?
U can get ahold of me at my email address or myspace

hi i recently bought aspen bedding for my rats because of its advertised “natural” materials. One of the girls broke out with sores and the other developed dry skin in just two weeks. it took me that long to notice they were avoiding the bedding at all costs. NEVER use a pine bedding its abuse.

Hi,
I cant quite find where to post a new topic, but I was wondering,
I just bought a new rat recently and I bought her from a pet store in which they did NOT seperate female and male
She is semi- young I think, and rather small, and I think she is pregnant,
are there certain signs I look for, or is there something I can do?
Im dont have a job right now and I cant quite pay for taking her to a vet, but is there anything else I can do?

Hi McKenzie,
If she was pregnant, she should have given birth by now. Rats and mice usually do fine delivering by themselves. How many pups/kittens/babies/ratlings did she have?
